I do a lot of traveling, which means that I am often sitting by or near noisy kids on planes. When you are trying to get some work done on the flight, or even worse some sleeping, then noises like this can be a real pain. In the past, I have tried to use earplugs to block out noises like this that I do not want to hear. I’m not sure if you have ever tried to use earplugs for this purpose, but I can tell you that they do not work real well for it.

Until I got a pair of noise canceling headphones, I was using my iPod and turning the volume way up to try to block out the noises. Of course, I was not a fan of harming my hearing just to block out noises, but at the time it was the only reprieve I had available. If you find yourself in the same situation, then I urge you to take a good look at a pair of the Bose QuietComfort 15 acoustic noise cancelling headphones.
Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones Review
This particular pair of headphones offers a very comfortable fit because they fit right around the ear without creating too much pressure. They are perfect for flying and can even reduce the noise you hear from the plane’s engine. And if you have ever been in the row by the engine, then you know just how loud that sound can be on a long flight.
You can easily use the Bose QuietComfort 15 noise cancelling headphones with your iPod or iPhone. They come equipped with a cable that has a remote for the phone or iPod. It even has a mic for hands free calling, if you need that feature.
As a frequent traveler, I think one of the big benefits of these headphones are how compact they can be when packed. You see, the earcups rotate so that you can fold up the headphones and store them in the tightest of spaces. They also have a carrying case so you don’t have to worry about them getting damaged if you drop them into a messenger bag or other roomy bag.
The only real disadvantage of the Bose QuietComfort 15 noise cancelling headphones is that they run on an AAA battery. You can’t even listen to music with the headphones if the battery is dead, which means you always need to keep a spare AAA battery on you.
This price of the Bose QuietComfort 15 noise canceling headphones is also a bit more than its competitors, however you do get better noise cancelation from this brand when compared to others.
